Privacy Policy

What's Your AI Rank? is operated by Steve Kahle, doing business as Elite Operators. This policy explains how information is used to provide the assessment and the optional profile email and In Pursuit of Elite newsletter. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@eliteoperators.team.

The short version: You can see your result without giving us your name or email. If you choose to have your profile emailed, that same choice subscribes you to In Pursuit of Elite. Interact, Zapier, and Beehiiv help deliver the email and manage the subscription. If you previously unsubscribed, taking the quiz again may not send another profile email. You can contact us about your information at the address above.

The assessment

Interact processes your selected answers to calculate and display an AI Fluency Rank and related guidance. The assessment has 13 questions. Ten contribute to the score; the question about synthetic perspectives and the final two self-reported estimates do not affect your rank. The estimates ask about the share of your work assisted by AI and the weekly capacity you believe AI creates.

You may view your result without submitting your name or email. That choice does not mean the site or quiz is anonymous or free of tracking. Squarespace, Interact, and their service providers may process technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, page visits, cookies, and quiz interactions, to operate and measure their services.

Optional profile email and newsletter

If you choose Email My Profile & Subscribe, the form requires your first name and email address and asks you to agree to receive your profile and subscribe to In Pursuit of Elite. The form also offers No thanks — show my result. Your on-screen result is available either way.

If you opt in, Interact passes your submission to Zapier. Zapier uses your email address, first name, and assigned AI Rank to add or update you in Beehiiv, mark the subscription as coming from this assessment, and start the email for your rank when your subscription is active. Beehiiv manages the subscription and sends the profile email and newsletter. We use your rank and subscription source to route the requested email and manage the subscription; we do not currently provide a participant-accessible history of quiz results or the two estimates.

The email route has been tested with new and existing active subscribers, including retakes, but an email is not guaranteed to reach every inbox. If you previously unsubscribed, another quiz opt-in does not automatically reactivate your subscription, and the profile email may not be sent. Contact us if you want help with your subscription. You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using their unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not itself delete quiz or subscription records.

Beehiiv records sending, delivery, and engagement events, including opens and link clicks. Those events help us understand email performance; they do not necessarily prove that a person read an email.

How information is used and who provides the service

We use assessment information to assign a rank, show guidance, respond to support or privacy requests, and understand and improve the assessment. We use optional subscription information to provide the email relationship you requested and manage your preferences.

Squarespace hosts the website. Interact provides the quiz and opt-in form. Zapier routes opted-in quiz leads to Beehiiv and the matching email workflow. Beehiiv manages the newsletter subscription and profile emails. These providers may process information to deliver their services and, where applicable, for their own purposes under their policies. Their precise roles depend on the processing involved; this policy does not describe all of them as acting only on our instructions.

You can read the providers' notices: Squarespace, Interact, Zapier, and Beehiiv. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. Applicable transfer protections depend on the provider, processing, and law.

Cookies and technical information

The Squarespace site offers accept, decline, and manage choices through its cookie banner. Non-essential Squarespace cookies are restricted until consent. You can revisit your choice through Cookie Preferences. Squarespace activity-log data remains enabled. The embedded Interact quiz may use cookies or other technologies under its own practices; the Squarespace banner does not necessarily control tracking inside the embed. Browser settings can also restrict cookies, though this may affect functionality.

Retention and privacy requests

We review identifiable assessment records at least annually and remove or de-identify records no longer needed to provide requested services, support, or assessment improvement. Newsletter records are retained while you remain subscribed. We retain minimal opt-out and compliance records as needed to honor your choices and meet applicable obligations. Provider backups or records retained for their own purposes may follow different schedules. This is a periodic review, not automatic deletion on a fixed date.

You may contact support@eliteoperators.team to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you, or to ask about other privacy rights. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law. We may need to verify your identity and locate records across Interact, Zapier, and Beehiiv. We may be unable to identify a quiz session completed without contact information.

Sensitive information and changes

Please do not send passwords, confidential company information, or other sensitive material through the assessment or related support communications. The assessment is intended for an adult professional audience.

We may update this policy as the assessment or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version, and we will provide additional notice where required.
